Five Minutes

by Socorro   Apr 5, 2009

Its been a long day,
i look up the clock and realize there are five minutes left.
i then start to think on what to say,
such as words that can be meant.
should i tell him he is the one,
no i should wait.
i don't want him gone.

i look up again,
three minutes left.
soon a school of butterflies start to race inside of me,
trying to get my mind straight.
waiting for him to see in me,
i just sit there and wait.

i look up once again and see i have seconds left,
my heart right then starts to race,
the bell then rings and there i went.

while walking i then spot his face.
my mind then started to spin all insane.
just thinking what to say.

he then walks up to me and asks
"how was my day"
i stare in his eyes,
wanting to explain.
my feelings towards him.

i'll just wait for the right moment,
it will only take five minutes.
