Taken Back To A Memory

by Shadowlovely91   May 5, 2009

Crystal glass,

Shiny and smooth.

The twisted light of a full moon.

A glance to the past has been allowed,

But only as long as the sand drips lifelessly through the

hour glass.

Only moments are left to search,

Frantic hands comb the dirt.

All that can be done is to watch,

This memory, one you forgot.

The power of the moon has taken you back,

As the sky above filled with dark black.

A blinding light came from above,

And a purple flash brought you back to the past.

Why this moment?

What does it mean?

Life holds secrets, those funny things.

You watch as a child continues to search.

You stand near by, helplessly hurt.

The child's crying, tears run down her cheeks,

"Mommy, I can't find it!" She crys.

One last glimpse, and open the sky.

It's time to go now.

Leaving the child with a crying heart.
