Arabah Fish

by Ahmed Ali   May 8, 2009

Walking in this desert heat, a choking hunger sits within.
My heart beats the question - Where have I drifted in.

Pushing then Pulling, I'm testing the weight of your breath.
Analyzing till now and from the moment we had met.

The measure of your love is the weight of the sand,
Moving in slow-motion, slipping through my idle hands.

So I wander and wonder through the dunes of the yellow sea.
Still looking for that wonderwall oasis of you and me.
