Little Things

It's all the little things that mean something
Pairing the socks, washing the clothes
Leaving a little note for when I wake up
For reasons God only knows

The little things like a kiss hello
Mean so much after a hard day
To know I'm missed and loved
Just takes my breath away

Little things like cuddling me when I'm down
Spooning me while I'm asleep
Lets me know that you're my man
And you're the one that I want to keep

    It's true... those little things mean so much more than what people imagine...

    I really liked your poem... :) although i cannot fully understand you due to the fact that i haven't lived through these things yet... :) but i know why little things are so important...

    this is a simple yet wonderfully sweet poem...
    and now you're making me think of all the little things that i experienced with "him"...
