Lover's Truth

by Jordan W   May 17, 2009

You softly kiss my neck,
Such a simple act.
Yet shivers run along my spine.
My back arches.
And my heart races.
Pulse quickening,
I kiss you in the night.
And you whisper in my ear.
A few words longed for by all,
Yet heard by few.
You hold my heart,
And you are so unaware of it.
You think I will toss you aside,
You think I will simply walk away without looking back at you.
I will never betray you,
I will never hurt you,
I will never be anything but myself.
I will never do anything other than make you happy.
Please believe me when I tell you these things,
For all are true,
And with all my heart,
I will try to make them true.
Trust in me,
And drop into my arms,
For I will always be there...
to catch you as you fall.
