Nature Poet

by Viola   May 22, 2009

I go out with my bare feet

Onto the driveway to see the flowers

The new buds I cherish on my garden

I want to feel the warmth of the sun-beaten pavement

Underneath my toes, the bottoms of my feet becoming one with it

And the slow breeze pulling the hair away from my face, kissing my neck

I want to feel it, as if to eat up the whole earth

I want to dream in flowers, and live like a river

And I want to paint everything this earth has given me

For I, like Pessoa, am just a Nature poet
