I always wanted LOVE..
from my father that was never around
from my friends that only brought me down
from myself so i could get through the night
from my family so they wouldn't cause be so much strife
So one day IT came into my life
like a shooting star
i didn't know where it came from
but i liked it so far
I started to know what love is
i started to believe in love..
Until one day it walked right out the door
it didn't say "bye have a nice life"
it walked right out without wishing me goodnight
so today as i write this my eyes fill with tears
knowing that there is LOVE
but its no were near here..
