Thinking About My Wedding

by Poetical Princess   May 28, 2009

Hair twisted up
Makeup on
Dressed in gown, safety pins pinch
Nails painted French

Heart pounding
Eyes surrounding
Mind racing, moms is pacing
Girls dropping petals, I'll be tracing

Eyes tearing, moment nearing
Place full of family, even my Ebony (my cat)
Anticipating the most unbelievable moment for me
Angels are rejoicing, I waited for he

Walking down the aisle, with daddy in arm
He looks at me with a smile so warm

His baby is grown at complete event time
I will always love him even through the grime

Stares burn through my veil so deep
No time for shyness, no hill too steep

Almost there, is the song over?
Let go daddy's hand, no more undercover

Everyone's attention, the most I ever had
God I feel so emotional, just a bit too tad
Vows are up, he says I'm the only one
Who has had faith when others' were done

I make him smile just of the thought
Butterflies are still the reason flowers are bought

He looks hard in my eyes and his start to gloss
Now he's making every word begin with a pause

I say he's the one I believed through the slimmest situations
I walked on thinnest ice, preserved through complications

God has brought us together, everything is planned right
No trouble can take us apart, I know through God's might

Pastor is remarked by do you take this woman
He'll love and hold, his heart I've always been in
He repeats through thick and thin I'll stay his best friend

I take this man for richer or for poorer with no fear
I repeat I do and his hands raise my sheer

Eyes lock as he may kiss his long lasted/awaited bride
God shines down on us with long awaited pride

The pastor announces as he pronounces
Mr. and Mrs...
Wait, hold up, the wedding
The amount of this is?

Who cares it does'nt matter but that was so funny
I will be seeing forever my sweet honey bunny <3
=)
