Unspoken Words

by Andrew Santarita   Jun 7, 2009

I want to start this poem by saying
"I love you.", and I"m not playing
I"ve told you this before
As a friend, but now it means so much more

No longer do I wish to be your friend
I want to be your boyfriend, shit even your husband
I just don"t know how to say it
Should I write it with some boxes, and tell you to check it

Or should I call you at night
Sing you a song, and tell you I"m mister right
Or should I write you a love poem
Telling you that you were a flower waiting to blossom

You tell me what should I do
Cause I"m just trying to impress you
We are seventeen now
And I still don"t know how

So I'll just say it the only way I possibly can
I'll scream it out loud like I was a crazy fan
Until everyone hears me
And they will run and get you while they laugh at me

So to prevent me the embarrassment
Tell me what "I love you Andrew" meant
Because if your real about this tell me
Cause I'm ready for us to be...

"One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter."
