Summer Calls

by xLeftxBehindx   Jun 25, 2009

Comes around every year,
Blistering heat,
Countless sleepovers,
Sweet hearts on the seat,
Swimming midday,
Nocturnal for a week,
Movie after movie,
Not even close to being meek,
Cool down the car,
Go to the mall,
Practice your belly flop,
Water park? Man the slide is tall!
No homework
Need to find a job,
Drive until we drop,
Need the money, beg and sob?
Tanning girls and beach boys
Body surfing and volleyball
No school or thinking,
The boys for the pool party we should call,
Never should it end,
School in the fall but not now,
Summer is in,
Let’s have a cow!!
