There Was A Man

by Matt   Jun 27, 2009

There was a man,
Who had a dream,
All he really wanted,
On his arm was a queen.
He wanted a family,
Some kids of his own,
But as time passed,
Older he had grown.
A life spent with uncertainty,
All he wanted was love,
He began to question,
If God was above.
He threw away the good ones,
And forever chased the bad,
Not knowing that this could,
End with him being sad.
Time is running out,
For this man is getting old,
He must find that special one,
And treat her like she were gold.
