She Looks So Young To Me

by Richard S   Jun 29, 2009

She looks so young to me.
How can that still be?
The world should see what I do see,
Or are their eyes too old?

I see the sparkle in her gaze.
A youthful laugh is still her craze.
She does not moan for other days.
A future to unfold.

She thinks I'm silly when I say,
I see her younger every day,
And ask that girl to come and play,
And forget about our aches.

Her surface is to me still fine.
A spirit deep that does combine,
With youthful nature well defined,
Enough my breath to take.

Skin as soft as it was when,
Hair so fine it made boys men.
True be now as it was then.
She hasn't changed to me.

Young she is in best of ways.
She brings me back to better days.
I truly know her youth will stay,
So fresh and still so free.
