Vacation Wish

by xLeftxBehindx   Jul 5, 2009

Summer is here and it shouts loud
Going out of town with one friend was allowed
Florida it was, to my aunt's house we went
I knew it was going to be a fun event

To my surprise a new one was to tag along
Almost as if our family was where he should belong
Finding that my friend liked him as he did her too
At first thinking it was cute and all the things I could get them through

None the less, she got over him in short time
So I thought he was cute, that isn't a crime
But he never gave up on her even when she said no
And a friend is all he ever will see of me, I know

I wish I could but I can't because he won't
I want to do something, make him happy, but my mind says don't
We talk all the time, more than she ever did with him
They text and call but nothing else, even alone when we swim

The two of them are only friends now
A peck on the lips is all she allows
What about me, I'm still here!
I guess I will have to wait again for vacation next year
