Holiday Heart

by SoUrNameIsTia   Jul 7, 2009

On occasion there would be chocolates.
Perhaps a flower,
a jacket for a chilly day.

There isn't one,
who has given love.
I'd be kept a stray.

This day is a holiday for us,
another fine occasion.
But in this per diem,
it's that time to shine.

You have given me sweets and beautiful symbols.
Further more,
you have given me you heart,
that makes my heart benign,
and true.

I don't want a chocolate bar,
or a single rose.
My holiday is with your heart.
A gift destined to pursue.
