What i need to hear you say

by hurts x without x you   Jul 11, 2009

She walks and the wind blows
she turns and he's there just like before
his eyes they don't leave her
and she stares at the floor
they speak and then they ignore
feelings creep back
they run for the door
but this time it's only her that runs
he stands there, waiting
but this time her fear is his gun
she looks up and he's there just like before
he stares and her frustration reaches full
she's lost it with his games
he knows it isn't right
he has to say "i love you"
or he'll lose her to him tonight
she waited, he didn't
she couldn't wait anymore
he destroyed her, she left
she left a note on his heart's front door.
"i fell apart, where were you? I cried, you didn't show"
he breaks down and swims in regret
he shouldn't have closed the door
she walks in, her face down
she looks up, he stares with a frown
he stands up, a breakthrough
and then he said "i need you"
