Yes, I like this one a lot, Silvia.

In my country flowers grow abundantly, but even the wildflowers do so, in so many different colors:)

I love this format too, it looks so nice on the page and is not too repetitive, which restricts the poet in conveying his/ her message.

It is a pity they have to die. I was in a park yesterday ( rosarium), where they have all the known rose- varieties and I was too late! They were already falling out..and I was so sad, because I went there with my new cam to make pics and I could only take a few good ones.

Lovely write, made me see so many images I love:)

    Thanks for sharing,

    *hugs*

This is a beautiful poem about different kinds of flowers. You have some great imagery in this piece, very well done. The ending was a little sad, that summer has ended but uplifting because they will be back next year. A great write, well done! Happy to see a new poem by you :]

You have painted a really colorful work of art with your words. Very descriptive to the point of almost being able to smell the sweet scents
    Enjoyable read

I have many times thought that poems about nature are in many ways better than love poems where the same old thoughts and words are written and worn out. Nature opens up the thought process and lets real creativity take place. Your poem finds just the right words and the phrases you painted let us imagine the scene you had in mind. I think your work here is "A" plus and a was a good read and a nice moment to reflect on the theme you chose. Bravo!

    Sylvia,
I absolutely adore nature poems and this one is remarkable on its own. It has that charismatic feel of flowers falling and bidding farewell at the end of summer. Absolutely gorgeous poem dear.

    Blue skies, grassy fields, wildflowers,
    yellow daisies standing up tall,
pink and white larkspur growing wild.
    Petal by petal, blossoms fall.

I liked this opening verse for it just put me
    right in that spot..very nice!

Spring breeze blowing, green grass swaying,
flowers dancing in place for all
    to see their delicate ballet.
    Petal by petal, blossoms fall.

This is another lovely picture to see the
    flowers dancing..a beautiful picture drawn
    with words...good one!
The form as well as the poem is done very
    nicely..liked the read :)

Repeating lines can be tricky but I think you have done a lovely job with this piece. Everything blends and flows nicely and it was an enjoyable read.

Your last stanza is my favorite part, I enjoyed the word choice and it brought everything together nicely. Good work.
