Missing You, Needing You, How?

by megan   Jul 21, 2009

I'm missing you more and more each day.
If I ran into you, what would I say?

Why are summer's so long, but winter's so short?
I dread every rain drop, every cloud, til the day I see you.

Everything you have said to me, I have never forgotten, and never will. Why is this time of year so hard?

If I try to send one email, I know it won't come back. So why try? Why?

Why? Why do I bother then? I just don't want to do anything behind your back. I don't want to hurt you.

You don't know this, but you're everything to me, every star in the sky. Every grain of sand. Every mineral. Every atom. You're all that matters to me.

How can I tell you? I know, I'll never have a chance, and if I do, it'll be too late.

Being without you feels like life on Jupiter. No air, just toxic gases that kill me.

I miss you so much. Miss you more than anything right now. I'd run out and find you, but I know, you're someplace not to be found.
