Eternal Bleeding Heart

She likes him.
He likes her.
Who loves me?

She lives far.
They can't be.

I live near,
and suffer in pain.

Love and sorrow,
when I look in his eyes.
bittersweet longing
as my tears flow down.

But the hardest part,
I must confess,
of all this sorrow...
of all this pain...

Is I can't hate her.
She's my friend.
She can't be blamed.
She doesn't know...

The damage she's caused
The pain I feel
The love I cannot show.

I but i must endure
this retched pain...
my bleeding heart...
the silent tears...

Emotions run crazy
I can't keep control
I love him too much
but I'm just a friend

If only he knew what he's done to me.
My heart shall bleed for eternity.

    Awwh I can relate to this poem from a past experience. I love the poem, and the format. Really well structured and thought out =]

    I love this stanza particularly, it's almost as if your writing a list of everything that your body is going through because of this one emotion. But something you can't tell nobody. Love it!!
