Focusing Iris

by Ahmed Ali   Jul 25, 2009

Before I focus on you,
I'll focus on me.
That way I'll be that closer to perfection,
when comes the time that it's you I have to see.

I'd rather jog than run.
If I'm too fast,
I might miss out,
on what might actually be fun.

A wise decision,
I'd like to believe.
Although, it bears many uncertainties,
that are hard to conceive.

Better to focus on me,
Before I focus on you.
Even though there's a chance,
In the future, you may no longer see me through.
