I'm not so sure what has come over me,
How did I never notice?
Your eyes so deep, your hands so soft.

The way you looked at me,
I saw it right then.
You were falling for me,
I need to take a deep breath.

Step back and figure it out,
But it's different with you.
I just want to plunge in,
And drown myself in these emotions.

You make me forget the pain,
That has buried itself in me.
Just your presence makes me smile,
What has come over me?

I'm beginning to think that we are becoming an us.
And I've never been more excited to be this scared.
