    Your imagery is picture perfect. And each word described the beauty of the dance and the allure of a sensual lady.

    Thank you very much Directly Implied. It was a video by the beautiful Iranian singer
    Sharrzad Sepaniou that inspired this poem. Have been getting into Persian music videos lately.

    I know a Persian girl name Shahrazad. She is amazing. Your poem brought her to my mind. She is clever magical wonderful girl.

    Your poem is very delicated. I love it every word. It has magnifying spell. Nice work! :)

    Well, you certainly made me see this beautiful woman!
    Eastern women can be so very enchanting and mysterious..it is something in their dark eyes and the sensual way they move. I love my exotic sisters!

    The poem was well written, good vocabulary, but it had too few comma's.
    I will copy and paste and insert them in brackets, so you can see it for yourself. It also helps to say the lines out loud, then you will hear where the natural pause should be.
    This is how I would use the interpunction in my favor and the caps ( just a suggestion):

    Shahrazad, dancer of the night.
    Behind the purple lattice of Persian screens,
    you dance to the rhythm of ancient music,
    swirling in the mirth of frankincense,
    spinning into the night.

    I drink from the silver chalice of your smile,
    seeing crescent moons reflected in your eyes.
    The echoes of singing voices radiate the vision of desert nights,
    As I feel my passion flowing;
    a river of silver and gold melting into distant plateaus.

    Desert enchantress,
    spinning your dance eternal in the lapis depths of evening's promise;
    I surrender now to your smile.
    Let me drown in the music of your dark eyes,
    your seductive voice,
    leading me to misty moonscapes and ruined castle walls.

    Shahrazad,
    swaying to the syncopating rhythms of drums and bells,
    beneath a Persian moon,
    drawing me to the magic of your spell.

    Lovely poem:)

    Take care,

    5/5 Ingrid

    Thank you Cindy and Genuine Lavender! Appreciate your comments. Am fascinated with the myths and mystery of Persia. Didn't know there was a male name equivalent of Shahrazad. Interesting.
