When we were young

by anton   Aug 5, 2009

Those were the day's,
Our silly ways,
The whole new rave,
Its what we crave,

We went together,
Witnessed the dark weather,
Our skin turned to leather,
Was it for the better?

They told me,
To take a knee,
To over-see,
The working bee,

We were there,
It was the only fare,
We left them bare,
It wasn't fair,

Then they came,
You took the blame,
Things aren't the same,
It wasn't a game,

They denied your pardon,
I tried to bargain,
I even questioned,
Then I threatend,
