With these tears in her eyes
she looks at you and whispers those three words.
as you take her hand and get on that knee,
the ultimate surprise.
you ask her to spend forever with you,
and she simply says forevers not enough.
she wants it for eternity,
because to give you up is way too tough.
as she smiles through her happy tears,
you tell her you love her,
more than youve ever loved anyone,
and you think about your long future.
shes thinking about your first time meeting,
you shaking, her nerves on the fritz,
the awkward hug and awkward first kiss,
the first time to our eternal greeting.
you picked her up when she was lost,
you helped her as a friend,
you showed her not all guys are the same,
which seemed to be her lifes trend.
you gave her trust and hope back,
you gave her a real smile,
her first real smile in months,
you started to mend that big crack.
you came in like glue,
and did your magic,
she never saw it coming,
and now she thanks god for you.
its for all this and so much more,
that she could never live without you.
without your love, without your touch,
the only thing she wakes up for.
