On Saturday

Verse 1

When I walk down the street,

I can hear your heart beat,

In the back of my head,

Are the words that you said.

The day that you went,

You left my heart bent.

I'm sure glad you're back,

With your orange knapsack.

Your fingers through my hair,

Like they're not even there.

Your breathe on my neck,

You give it a peck.

Chorus x2

On Saturday I'll pay a dollar to see you.

I'll take a bus ride to your side of town.

I'll smile and wave, and glare out the window.

And listen to my ipod playing a sound.

Verse 2

The bridge under my feet,

With the puddle they meet.

My blue jeans are wet,

They'll soon dry I bet.

With the wind blowing dearly,

I missed my stop nearly.

I head toward your door,

I knock once more.

You open it slightly,

Ever so lightly.

I like having you near,

Don't want to be anywhere else but here.

Chorus x2.
