I got a son

I must have heard these lines
more than a 1000 times
and they never meant a thing to me
It may even be more than that
still it made no difference
but now when I say it
it suddenly makes sense
we´ve got a son

it just like everything I found with her
I now found a second time
and everything I started
didn´t really start till now
and everything looks different
so much different than before
but now it sound so natural
I got a baby boy

and you hold me tight
like I should have done
and you seek me in the dark
and listen to my voice
like I never did

I didn´t know
that something so small, could be so big
so big that it almost hurts
but without the actual pain
and everything I said
suddenly clicks in my mind
I have a son

Nothing is important
and at the same time
everything is
it sounds so normal
we´ve got a son
