My dad did the same thing. my mom said he could either stop drinking and stay with his family or leave. and he chose to drink over keeping me. i think you will really like my poem "you'll never be there" it about my dad and how he left. i though you poem was really really good though! :)

The ending was a little abrupt, but that just put the thought of the question shooting through the readers mind. nicely done by the way. the flow was even and the words used were the perfect choice.

It was depressingly beautiful. You evoke image really well and ibe was right, you do have the flow right. It was definitely a winner.

That was cool cause i have the same feeling with my dad he is there but not really gets me in so many ways

In a way, I know what this feels like. This piece is relatable to a lot of people in a lot of different ways, so good job with that. The style is interesting. The flow is well done, but seems to stray in a few places.Emotion is defiantly present, as is your voice. All in all this is a fantastic piece, though I believe it could have been more personalized or unique. I like it but I gave it a 4/5
