His Phone Call

"Hello", I said so calmly,
I knew it was him by the caller id..

It had been 7 days since we talked so I knew something was wrong.

"We need to talk", he said..
My heart was in my throat, I wished I were dead..

"I can't marry you" he said, his voice so low..
"I'll call you later" I replied, I gotta go..

I didn't want him to hear me cry..
In that moment I wanted to die..

How could he do this, what did I do?
I'm living in hell, my life is threw..

I composed myself , and on a piece of paper, this is what I wrote..

~You said you'd never leave me..
Why did you lie?
You said that you'd love me..
Even after you die..

You couldn't live without me..
With out me you had no meaning in life..
You couldn't wait for the day..
I'd become your wife..

It was to be June 26th..
When our hearts became one..
How can it be over..
Why are we done??

I know I'm not perfect..
But I've tried all I could..
So why won't you love me..
When you said you would?

We had so many plans..
Now they have disappeared..
The thought of ever losing you..
Is the only thing I feared..

I'm not ok, I won't be fine..
Your hearts not here..
where it belongs with mine..

Please come back..
and stay with me..
Cuz in your arms..
is where I'm meant to be..

~*** I have yet to call him back, It makes me sick to think about hearing his voice, altho I know I should, I don't want to sound stupid, but I just can't see my life without him...
