From the shore

by Black Heart Still Beating   Aug 28, 2009

From the shore the lady waits
for her sailor who is out to sea to late
The storm brews, on the shore
soon enough it will go to the sea for more

From his boat the sailor is lost
the storm has its cost
this job was not worth his life he knows
as he's thrown over-bored into the under tow

From the light-house he shines the light
but the storm is putting up a fight
the light wont shine through the down pour
the sailors at sea will have to fight more

From the dark he comes through
he is cold, from the love he once knew
so he walks the ruff waters made by the storm
looking for the Lady's sailor to see her morn

From the water he is pulled free
he thinks he has a chance to see
his lady love again today
but the dark creches wont let him play

From the light they do return
into the place that will eternally burn
but the sailor is chosen
so when he enters hell is frozen

From the shore the lady can't take it anymore
she jumps over the edge because her heart is sour
the sailor will return to no love
because the lady decided to be carried above.
