Goodbye

Our love had soaked my feelings
Broken with no healing,
She choked my hope dry.
Left and still,
- I don’t know why…

Now I’ll be alright.
You cut my heart,
Maimed my sight.
How can this hate be you,
It just isn’t right.
How could you do…

Used to be that,
We held hands and I was lost in your gaze.
And I won’t forget
All these days I had spent.
This is goodbye…

And I’ll try -
You left me to die,
But I’ll try.
I still don’t know why.

now painful days
and Dark nights,
I wished you had stayed.
But I’ll be alright -
All that’s missing is you.
How do I wake,
When you were all that I knew.

Tonight I cried -
And Every year a day goes by
There’s tears in my eye.
I feel I’m waiting to die .
This can’t be true…

And I’ll try -
To take this goodbye…
