Sun and Moon

by kaylajoyx3   Sep 24, 2009

I feel like a child in a world full of intellectuals
You took my hand and guided me across the forbidden street
& here I was left distant
Promises turned to lies
...Because you loved me
Love seems like the only thing that will set me free
We are meant to be
One day I hope you see
Two tormented souls both resilient and opposing as sun and moon
We're tilting on a see saw through the atmosphere
I'm up when you're down
We can help each other through
As long as we don't get off, no one will go plummeting towards the ground
One day we will be together
My heart has already fallen
Bruised on the landing
But further down towards the healing I shall go
For the sun rises every day
I will as well, give this ride another go
