Blazing Angel

by Francis Vaska   Oct 3, 2009

A shining star blazing through the sky,
Untouchable to those unworthy,
A shining example of beauty at its peak,
A fantasy of unremarkable perfection,
But all knows of the dark side of the star,
The pain and suffering the star has survived,
The tears, deadly to those unwilling to listen,
The star dims in the dark sky,
But the voice, still as clear and beautiful as can be,
The image, gone from sight, but burns within everyone’s heart.
