I try not to think of you
in that way

as far away as i can
i try not to look at you

i try not to flirt with you
i try to realise that
where just mates
i try not to tell you how i feel
i try not to ask you questions
about how you feel towards me
all i can do is try
and ive tried so long
but it doesnt work
none of it does
your constantly
in my thoughts

are still here
i just cant turn them off
i find it impossible
to look away from you
when you talk to me
when our eyes lock
wondering what is going on
in your head
where soo much more than mates
this connection we have is surreal
i cant help
letting my mind wander
into a daydream
about our future
i try soo hard
but its useless
so why do i even try
knowing its pointless
maybe its time
to give in
and let everyhting
take over and not
