Lonely Nights

by saveairforme   Oct 21, 2009

Hovered in her bedroom all alone
she hides her head under her pillow
afraid anyone could hear her cries.
Cries of despair and sadness
rising up in her throat like vomit
ready to let it all just burst forth.
She feels so lonely, especially at night
when there is no one to talk to,
no one to hold her hand
patting her on the back,
telling her that it will be alright.
Instead her sheets get soaked
her sobbing increases by each second
as she lies with blood shot eyes,
wishing it would soon be morning.
