Hidden between these trees

by ALLEN CEM   Oct 26, 2009

There is no mountain big enough for me to hide behind this love, its true.

I can see the look in your eyes when you talk to me,
and in every movement that you do.

The feelings might be mutual , but i do not have the courage to find out.

So hidden behind my true feelings on this road to love I
re-route.

Am I headed in the right direction , I do not care to know.

Just the thought of you leads me to places I thought I would never go.

Overtaken by love I travel this curvy road with blind spots in every direction that I turn.

In the end, will it lead me safely to what my heart has yearned?

I am an Innocent victim in these questions that I seem to place in my head.

I twist and turn looking for answers and end up in square one instead.

If i take a left turn and find the courage to tell you , you are more then a friend.

Will my heart ever feel the same if you were to tell me otherwise , could it ever mend?

There is no mountain big enough for me to hide from the truth, this is plain to see.

However on this mountain somewhere I stand , alone i might be.

Either way I would rather be lost with nothing, for without you that is what i would be.

So I shall keep pretending and driving as if I do not know , hidden between these trees.
