Beauty Is The Beast

by Wishmaster   Oct 27, 2009

I. The Beast
The tale of my own cold heart shows the man alone
Locked away from what is known
The bitterness in the golden cage
The war inside wanting to wage

The vision of my past brings me pain
For with that, there is no gain
The hurt for what I've done
Leaves me broken, a Lost Son

The remains of the dark song is what you see
The haunting images of me
The man within the skin, I love least
For he is the terrible Beast

II. Escapist's Dream
Runaway from my past
For the horrid image will forever last
Paradise-seeker waits for his chance
To meet his true romance

The Poet's Angel is now here
But he cannot express his love, out of fear
Hope dies away, and he leaves for the wilderness
Giving up his Enchantress

The Sirens sing of long lost love
But the Beast will know nothing of
He walks over the hills and to the valleys below
To see within, he'll never let anyone know

III. Dawn
Broken and weary, the Beast sleeps tonight
Dreaming of his lovely light
When night breaks to dawn
His former self is now gone

He is now at peace with himself
And with the help of his Maiden Elf
He can live forevermore without the nightmare
His love, he can now share

No matter what we are
We can see each others deadly scar
Beware the People's feast
Or the Beauty will become the Beast
