There came you

by Mikaela DLC   Oct 29, 2009

It still didn't matter,
How much I gamble my life.
All I ever wanted was to frolic down the flower path,
And see your perfect eyes at the end,
You would hug me and save me from my clumsiness,
Then whisper in my ear, "welcome back."

I heard the world laugh at me,
Because I was so weird and unpredictable.
The truth is, I'm just different.
Is that why you love me?

I thought I bore the heaviness,
Like my own life was against me,
But then, there came an angel.
There came you,
At the end of my unwinding journey.
