Losing You.

by Second to None   Nov 7, 2009

I can't believe your leaving
Your the only person i could really talk to
With you i didn't have to lie about how i feel
I could just say it and you would understand

We have only fought once the whole time I've know you
And it was over something so dumb i don't even remember
I can't imagine life with out you here to go through it with me
You understood all my hard times more than anyone else

You were there when i got my heart broken by "him"
You were there when my dad left me
You were there when i couldn't handle life anymore
You were there, and you made everything OK

When i couldn't stop crying over that phone call
You were there to make me smile
We have so much in common
There are so many things only you would understand

Its not your fault your leaving, i hate your dad
He ruined everything over something so dumb
How could he cheat on someone as wonderful as your mom?
I wish so bad i could help you more than just making you not alone

You don't even have hot water at you house anymore
Because you dad used the money to bail himself out of jail
Can any one say self-centered louder than he does?
Your dad and my dad would be best friends

What can i say, we are both falling apart
We need each other more than ever
I don't know if i can make it on my own
You were like my seat belt in a car crash, keeping me alive
But now that your leaving who's going to be there to make sure both of us survive?

I've lost people too Amelia. It hurts like hell and its going to take you a long time to finally get over it, not forget, you never will but it won't hurt anymore after a While. For now, you know that I'm always here for you because I love you and you can come to me with anything you have to say. I will always listen to you and try and do whatever I can to help.
    I love the poem 5/5
