Love's Change

by Jose Emmanuel   Nov 9, 2009

Come be with me and be my queen
There you'll see where you have been
With me you shall never starve
And your statue I will carve

All the wonders I will give
In gold earrings, you shall live
I'll light up your darkest night
With a chandelier full of light

Thy earthly goods I don't need
My love for thee shall only bleed
Thy love for me I only crave
So why not come to me and be brave

With thee shall I only smile
If not be true even for a while
My love for thee is but of pure
So allow me to be your cure

Now I know who you truly are
A love that is seen from a far
Certain as the sun my love is right
A heart that shines within my sight

I do appreciate thee my love
Whose kindness is as white as a dove
You have greatly changed my life
Ready to wed thee and be my wife

Special mention to one of my friends who made the last 2 lines in stanza 2
