One Winged Angel (Innocence)

by Mikaela DLC   Nov 16, 2009

The glimpse of wandering light,
Shattered my heavy silence,
Sorrowful rain poured down,
And drenched her fading remembrance.
A thousand words can't even be heard nor spoken,
With a One-winged angel with her lone wing broken.

She forces herself to smile though she hides the pain,
Feels lonesome and unimportant without a name.
Her days seem so usual everyday.
Staring at a dirty window,
Just to watch the cry of the rain.

One day,
I saw her screaming, pleading to the floor.
I, myself couldn't take it anymore.
So I ran across, just to cheer her up and stay by her side.
But, I was shocked as I closed in, her presence was slowly fading.
She then turned to me, smiled and whispered,
"Thank you and Goodbye".
