i tire from my short but painful jaunt
the path i chose i can never vaunt
my life continues my voice hoarse
the path i walk is my only coarse

I really loved your word choice here and i feel exactly like this. The way im going on is the only path i can choose. 5/5

The second stanza was my favorite...I think you did really well with the rhyming and still keeping with the feeling of what you wanted to say.
