Our souls.

My heart was floating to wards him,
then all the sudden he just turned away,
and it started to fall,
and next thing i knew i was staring down a cliff side watching my heart fall,
and he was standing behind me,
holding my hips,
then he whispered into my ear,
"I never loved you, you were just something I wanted. But no more do I desire you in anyway. Goodbye."
Then he pushed me off the cliff,
and i was falling just like my heart with no one to catch me.
It seemed like i was never gonna stop falling,
then as I kept looking down where i was falling,
looking for a end,
I could always see my heart,
but it kept its distance,
I could never fall fast enough to catch it myself.
Then I heard a crash,
my heart finally reached the bottom of the cliff,
and it shattered into a million pieces.
Then I was no longer in my own falling body.
The place I was in the air when my heart shattered,
my soul stayed,
and I watched as my now life-less body fell faster,
and instead of hitting the ground,
it fell in the ocean, and sank.
As my soul watched as my body sank,
I looked up and saw him standing there looking down the cliff side at me.
grinning, as he tossed a rose and he said:
"I will never forget you, a piece of me fell with you."
Then I looked down, and saw him sinking in the water with my body,
and I looked beside me and once again there he was,
his soul right beside me,
"I love you, but we could never be together in this life. but my soul will always be with you."
he whispered.
I looked up, and he was still standing on the cliff side looking down at me.
I glazed down at the water again,
and his body was no longer sinking in the water with me.
I stared in disbelieve as his body was just there,
then the rose lightly fell on top of the water.
my heart felt like it was going to explode,
as I watched my body,
my heart drown in its own sorrows.
I looked up, and he was still standing on the cliff side looking down at me.
But his soul was still beside me, handing me the rose.
I took the rose,
and we both looked down and watch my lifeless body, live it's life's fear: Being, and dying alone.
