Short moment

People were racing,
heart rapidly beating.
breath staggering,
then complete ecstasy.

the room was filled,
and the small void in my throat,
unclogged.
"hello."

all chatter, silence,..
and all i saw was chestnut brown eyes.
beauty had finally arrived,
and death was no where near.

"hello." you responded,
followed by a unsure smile.
the beginning of our life..

and the ending of a second choice.
