Don't You DARE

by Ahmed Ali   Dec 14, 2009

I'm tired of waiting,
That, I don't want to do.
I'm tired of your promises.
Hear them, I don't want that too.
I no longer care.
I won't even dare.
I'm going back to that time,
When I had no worries to wear.

So take your words,
Let them sit on your lips.
You just wait for the next fool of a person,
That will take them away with their kiss.
I'm tired of waiting,
I no longer care.
I'm going back to that time,
When I had no worries to wear.

I'm no longer eager,
to see that beauty of a face.
I no longer look forward,
to your tight embrace.
I'm tired of your promises.
I won't even dare.
Go on and take your words,
I don't want any worries to wear.
