Aquarium Prison

by Ahmed Ali   Dec 14, 2009

Me.
With my aquarium eyes,
I'm losing sight of you.
I need to take that chance and take myself beyond,
to the unexplored blue.

I've never felt the weight of your stare.
In your eyes a whole new world, I can see.
I understand that you have many things you wish to share.
What kind of love have you requited to me?

You.
With your lonesome eyes,
how far can they see?
You shower the world with your regard(stare),
but you dismiss every opportu-nity.

I'll let you feel the weight of my stare.
A whole new world, perhaps, you'll want to seize.
Escape from your own prison, I hope you'll dare.
Don't you want to know the love from pretty little me?
