A Love Story Put On Hold

A love story put on hold

Ever since you left I've felt so cold

I miss how you used to hold me close

To keep me warm and kiss my nose

I miss our walks through the park

Walking hand in hand as it got dark

I miss the silly songs you used to sing at night

Just so I could fall asleep by candlelight

I miss how you used to blush

Because you could only speak to my family in a hush

I miss how you used to kiss me while holding my hand

Making me travel to LA La Land

I miss having your fingers intertwined with mine

Telling me that everything was going to be fine

I miss how you used to pick me up and spin me around

Till we got so dizzy that we ended up in the ground

I miss how we used to argue about who love who more

Till we couldn't keep up anymore

I miss how we used to do whatever

Because it didn't matter as long as we were together

I miss how we used to have the biggest smiles in our faces

And the time you tripped over my shoe laces

I miss all the happy memories we've created

And the Kodak moments we've captivated

I miss being with you

Because I love you, yes I do

And like I have been told

This is a love story put on hold
