The Nights before Christmas

by Inocente   Dec 22, 2009

The nights before Christmas
a living hell i never knew
as darkness pierces the hearts of most
these lonely nights there is no bells
there is no caroling
but most of all there is no you
as though the light has gone
without you here
I've never missed you or wanted you more
i cannot imagine a Christmas without you
as you are my family
my best friend
you are my universe
so this year i asked Santa for one thing
the thing i want most of all
just you with me maybe a hot coco or two
doesn't really matter
i just wish you were here
i now am filled with hope
i count the days till my white Christmas
the minutes and second excruciation
but i know when i here the bells you will be there.
so for now i listen to the children sleep and the silent nights
merry Christmas to them and for now goodnight.
