Sparkled Skies

by Good Enough   Dec 30, 2009

Look above, to sparkled skies
A comet shot by arrows
To the east of the moon
And to the north of the trees
A comet's shine dazzles

The tail so white of melting ice
So close to the suns intense heat
Starts to wither away a little
Until darkness starts to fall
And leave us with that empty void

But as the skies begin to brighten
With the mornings dawn
I will know the comet is alive
In spirit more than reality
For it showed me more than shine itself
