"Just smile girl," he said- "I love you."
In her heart all she could think is "I love you too."
But her common sense was screaming, "Screw you."
"I cant," I replied with tear filled eyes.
A moment of silence, till he finally asked "Why?"
"Do you even care, baby, that your breaking me inside?"
"I didn't know, I promise to you!" he tried to fight.
But my mind was drifting, so I didn't listen to his side.
"When did I ever hurt you so?" I tried to say through the tears.
"Did you even care, that I needed you here?"
An ocean of tears lay upon my feet.
Then finally he spoke, "Sweety, I didn't know how much you needed me."
"You left me baby, you left. I always wonder what your gonna do next."
He took her in his arms and held her tight-
"Please dont cry honey, its killing me inside."
I could hardly feel my legs anymore, my knees are week and my heart is sore.
"Can you honestly believe, that you loved me more?"
I pulled away from his embrace, to look into his eyes-
I saw a gentle tear run down his cheek,
then almost emediently I believed, that boy does love me.
"Darling, I want you to know that you are everything to me.
I have never loved anything, as much as I love you now.
So please don't ever question my love for you, my girl.
Because every time you stop believing I feal my heart drop down."
My eyes lit up with every little word that he said,
the tears disappeared and I could stand up again.
I took his hands in mine, and held them tight.
