Human Mistrust

by La Muse Angelique   Jan 14, 2010

A cowardly dog, with tail through legs
Trying to run away from it's unturnable fate
You can run, but you can't hide!
You don't love me, you never really did

Hurtful feelings, embracing me everyday
Nothing to me is holy anymore, let it go
We once were one, it felt so nice
I am alone now, honestly I've been alone all along

I loved you so much, my love was so really true
I could only love you!
You were my desire, my god, my life
I gave up everything for you, I wanted to be your wife

Why weren't you serious with me from the start?
You used my good willing heart
Disgusted by this long facade curtain
This mistrust hurts the most

Being alone actually feels good.
