The Garden

I've felt the cool rain upon my back
Soaking me in happiness
For I know that this rain
is my life

I've felt the sun shine on my head
It saturates and heats me
I know that this sun
is my life

I plant the hedges
around my life
To protect it
from gusty winds

The life within the hedges
sustains me,
fulfills me,
it changes me

Teaches me to tread carefully
in life's garden
so I may live
In peace and tranquility
